How to Rip a DVD
Before buying movies online became big, just about everyone had a slew of DVD's, but what happens to those DVD's when you start streaming movies from your computer? Or taking them with you, on your iPod, or Zune? Why don't you just put them all on your computer, and put them on your iPod. Put them on your Zune. And stream them to your TV.
Windows
- Download DVD Shrink
- Insert your DVD
- For the full DVD just select 'Full Disc' and hit backup.
- For just parts (like just the video) select 'Re-author' and go down to main movie, and select the video there. Then hit backup.

Mac
- Download Handbrake
- Insert your DVD
- Select where you want your video to be saved
- Hit start
