How to Mount an Image
If you've ever been following a tutorial and been told to burn the image to the disk, you've probably wondered if there's a better way. Well, the answer to that, is there is.
The best solution, is just to mount the image. What this does, is creates a virtual disk drive on your computer, and it makes your computer think that the disk is in an actual drive, making it fully functional.
- Download and install Daemon Tools Lite, for Windows.
- Go to your system tray, and right click on Daemon Tools (if it's not there, run the program)
- Then go to 'Virtual Devices'
- Scroll over the first option, and navigate to 'Mount Image...'
- Navigate to your image, and open it.
The image will then appear on the virtual drive, fully functional.
