How to Mount an Image

If you've ever been following a tutorial and been told to burn the image to the disk, you've probably wondered if there's a better way. Well, the answer to that, is there is.

The best solution, is just to mount the image. What this does, is creates a virtual disk drive on your computer, and it makes your computer think that the disk is in an actual drive, making it fully functional.

  1. Download and install Daemon Tools Lite, for Windows.
  2. Go to your system tray, and right click on Daemon Tools (if it's not there, run the program)
  3. Then go to 'Virtual Devices'
  4. Scroll over the first option, and navigate to 'Mount Image...'
  5. Navigate to your image, and open it.

The image will then appear on the virtual drive, fully functional.
